    This is a lovely collection of thirty original airs, schottishes, waltzes, jigs, reels, freilachs and Newfoundland "singles" written by two well known Canadian folk artists, Dave Panting and Dan Rubin and performed on a range of stringed instruments, accordion, penny whistle and percussion. This piece was written to honour the Vikings, who voyaged across unknown seas to settle at L’Anse aux Meadows at the top of Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula. Dan wrote this waltz after reading "West Viking" by Farley Mowat.
