    A gorgeous thirteen tune album of original songs recorded by Dave Panting and Dan Rubin with support from co-producer Geoff Panting who also played organ and accordion and featuring guest tracks by drummers Simon Minimis, Elliot Dicks and Andrew McCarthy plus harmonica tracks by Mike Stevens. The songs pn this album range from Greek rhythms to reggae rockers to bluesy ballads and country songs. They trace an arc through time and space, linked in theme and imagery.

In 2008 Dan flew to the Big Island of Hawaii for a last visit with his mother. He was able to be with her until the day she passed away. While there he stayed with friends who have a land co-op along the shore called Belly Acres. The cabin he stayed in was only a short distance from where the fresh lava is still flowing down from the volcano. Where the lava meets the sea, a plume of super-heated steam rises to the clouds. This song celebrates the four elements - fire, water, earth and air, - and the ceaseless destruction and creation which is part of all life. It comments on our apparent inability to face what we are doing to the planet.
